What an extremely busy past couple of months.
The house is coming along quiet nicely! With spring and summer, we have been enjoying the outside more and working in the yard.
Chyler had her Confirmation, and once again we had a house full of guests! Her dress was amazing and I cannot thank her awesome god-mommy enough for making it for her.
The bug to paint is still not there. I am working on some paintings for baby gifts, so that has been keeping me busy.
I just finished this one for a new baby girl! I cannot wait to meet wee babe Charleigh!
That's right! It's only the beginning of May and these two are in the pool!
Pool was officially opened by a company earlier this week. Once the chemicals leveled off and there was a bit of a warm breeze, nothing, and I mean nothing could keep my girls (part fish) from quickly jumping into the pool. The pool was a tad on the chilly side! OK, more like down right cold at 61º F / 16º C!! Yeah, to cold for me.
Surprisingly they lasted almost 15 minutes in the chilly waters. We also found out that the pool is only 5 feet deep.
How could we have not have known? Well, when we first saw the pool it was a murky green swamp with a cover on it. The owner cleaned it and had it running for our final inspection in September. Then by the time we moved in it was winterized and covered once again. So.... surprise!!
Whatever! Here's looking forward to a hot summer with many lazy days around the pool!
Now to figure out how to make it all look better!
