I am in love with this little vignette.
Every last bit of it!
Just finished this fab little desk in Country Chic's Lazy Linen with a touch of their Belt Buckle Cream as a highlight. The desk pairs wonderfully with the vintage 1960's roller map of the Circulatory System.
This would make a wonderful study corner in a room while you learn countries names in French with the vintage globe.
Restyled Solid Wood Desk
1970's solid wood desked restyled with Country Chic's paint in Lazy Linen.
All drawers slide well and have original hardware.
Height - 29.5 inches
Width - 39.5 inches

Sometimes you come across something that is intriguing and you cannot help but spend hours exploring it.
For me, it was articles on Percy Township that I found online and in turn found a Facebook page called "Memories of Percy Township".
If you are interested in history or in my case learning more about this adopted village and what makes it tick.
I found articles about the four corners that I live in called Brickley, why it was named such and the history of the little white school house that belongs to my neighbour.
Below are pictures of Main St with my little shop in them.
If buildings could tell stories!
Learn about the Battle of Percy, the history of the Cheese House, the Mill, the Fire and how it started (and speculations too!)
The site is an amazing glimpse into a past so rich with history.
Not everyday is sunshine and lollipops, which is okay. I know the busy season is just about to begin and now it's a great time to plan and self reflect.
What colours to order? What will look good on this piece of furniture?
Gosh I have a lot of stuff, maybe I should set out a discount table on the weekend.
In the meantime, I'm just over here planning new workshops, promoting current ones, painting furniture, blogging and eating a fab rice bowl from the local cafe.
Thank you to everyone who nominated 13 and 1 for the Ignite 2018 -Business Award.
Congratulations to all the other nominees! Good luck and we will see you on the 28th at the Award Ceremony.
I wonder if Mother Nature forgot that it is indeed Spring?
We have had snow, rain, sleet, high winds, temperatures below 0 and over 5 degree. That is all within one day!
I cannot wait till the spring flowers are in bloom. Till windows are open, laundry is on the line and warmer temperatures.
This day will come.
Until then, I will be keeping warm in a big sweater, sipping on a hot tea and listening to some music.
Enjoy the link of "Spring Rain by Bebu Silvetti" above.
