Spent the afternoon running errands with the girls in the "big city" hitting up a bunch of stores within our limited time. Poor girls had to endure Value Village, aka VV Boutique, where I found lots of goodies to repurpose.
Did a bit of shopping for them at the mall, then off to MICHAEL'S!!!! The Mecca for crafters. I had a 50% off coupon that was burning a hole in my pocket lol I won't say much more about my ill gotten booty, cause well, that would ruin part of my surprise on Saturday!! Eeeeeee!! Can't wait!

As you can tell, I blog and update in spurts. I get distracted easily and I procrastinate like a teen the night before a major assignment is due. Some may know that I have been a stay at home mom now for a couple of months since being let go from my former employer. These have been a hard couple of months financially and it takes an adjustment from the whole family. The girls have been great. They always come first and they understand that some sacrifices must be made. They bicker and drive me absolutely bonkers, but they are truly beautiful young ladies, inside and out.
But.... something had to give. My passion to create, brainstorm, sketch, draw, build and sometimes tear down needed to have an outlet. So... I've finally gotten up off my ass and decided to do something totally scary and hopefully 100% worth while. I cannot wait to share this news with everyone. Business cards have been bought, so too has a banner!!! eeeeee!!!! I am so gratefully for a family that encourages me and great friends that will always have my back or help me along the way. As they say in TV land.... STAY TUNED! :) As you can tell, somethings are changing. I am working on changing the blog up, reverting back to just 13 and 1, and soon, some exciting NEWS!! I'm giddy, but I have a lot of work ahead of me.
Stay tunned! |
